Tο Εργαστήριο Οικονομικών των Επιχειρήσεων & Νέων Τεχνολογιών B.E.NE.TeC. ιδρύθηκε το 2004. Αντικείμενο του Εργαστηρίου είναι η εκπόνηση έρευνας και η παροχή υπηρεσιών στα επιστημονικά πεδία που σχετίζονται με θέματα Οικονομικών των Επιχειρήσεων και Νέων Τεχνολογιών στα οποία η ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα, η εφαρμοσμένη πολιτική και ο επιχειρηματικός κόσμος αναζητούν επιστημονικά τεκμηριωμένες απαντήσεις. Κύρια στρατηγική του Εργαστηρίου B.E.NE.TeC. είναι η εξωστρέφεια στη συνεργασία με αντίστοιχες ερευνητικές ομάδες διεθνώς και η μεταφορά τεχνογνωσίας σε επιχειρήσεις και οργανισμούς, παρέχοντας τους τα κατάλληλα εφόδια ώστε να ανταποκριθούν στις προκλήσεις της παγκοσμιοποιημένης οικονομίας.
Επιπροσθέτως το εργαστήριο σε συνεργασία με την ερευνητική ομάδα TECHNIS από το 2014 οργανώνει διεπιστημονικά σεμινάρια μέσω του διαδικτύου, τα οποία είναι ανοικτά στο ευρύ κοινό.
H αποστολή του εργαστηρίου είναι η εκπόνηση έρευνας στα επιστημονικά πεδία που σχετίζονται με θέματα Οικονομικών των Επιχειρήσεων και στα Οικονομικά της Καινοτομίας.
