Elements of critical literacy in the pilot Curriculum of Modern Greek Language for Gymnasium / Middle School
Short Description
This research project aims at understanding the pedagogic and ideological principles and language-didactic assumptions of the new (pilot) Curriculum, as well as distinguishing its innovative characteristics. For this purpose, we examine the ways in which literacy and language are defined within this Curriculum, as well as which kind(s) of literacy are promoted through this Curriculum in secondary compulsory education.
