Women in Power in Decision Making
Short Description
This project investigated the causes and the effects of the non- balanced representation ofwomen in the political decision making centers (e.g., governmental institutions, political parties) social decision making centers (e.g., research centers, academic institutions), and economic centers (e.g., banks, businesses). In addition it examined policies which promote the participation of women, e.g., the quota system. Finally it describes other actions taken to aid women in order to advance themselves to a more balanced gender representation in decision making centers (e.g., good practices).
