RISK

The RISK project aims to create a pilot tool for managing the risks of natural disasters addressed to those involved at local or national level in spatial planning, decision making and natural disaster prevention. The tool is an electronic application based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and can assess the socio-economic impact of natural disasters as well as the potential impact of Climate Change and produces a database of information and solutions that help decision making.
